Good news, everyone! I landed a new position, effective 2 weeks from next Monday. I’m taking a hiatus from the life of consulting and going back to work in the enterprise. No more ‘outsider’ status when working at a client, no more rolling the dice when it comes to where I’ll be at next…I’m looking forward to working with a team again and really feeling like a part of the bigger picture within a company.
The best part is I will now be working 5 minutes from home. This should help get me back on track with the MPLS series as well as future articles.
Enough about me though….

My apologies for the staggered posting, but at least I have a little something to wrap up the week. The job opportunity from last week didn’t quite pan out, but I’m hoping the interview I have next week does. I’m really looking forward to a 5 minute commute again.

Good morning all. It’s a half-day for me today, so I’m happy about that. The weather is nice and it’s beginning to look a lot like BBQ time! But enough about me…
